See Alpha Set D in action
Alpha Set D
The Stage 4 expansion for the Alpha series. It adds more motors, sensors and programming cards to enrich play and programming. The set keeps the physical programming method, so children can turn their ideas into programs without a computer or tablet.
An extra motor, infrared remote, photoelectric sensor, infrared receiver and offline voice recognition module let robots react to their surroundings and to people, and move more freely. With 350+ bricks, students can build models of many different shapes and functions.

An add-on to Alpha Set A
Alpha Set D cannot be used on its own. It must be used together with Alpha Set A.
Five new parts
These parts are added to the Alpha series at this stage, so robots can interact with the environment and with people.

High torque with dual-axis output. Compact, quiet and durable.

Detected automatically, with quick response, analogue data output and strong resistance to interference.

Detected automatically, with a wide receiving angle, an indicator light and a steady signal.

Detected automatically and wakes up by itself. Works offline with high recognition accuracy.

Steady signal and many keys. Power-saving, compact and easy to carry.
59 cards in 9 groups
Pick the cards you need and line them up in logical order. Scan them one after another with the OID module and the robot runs the program.
It is real, hands-on programming that children can do without a screen.

51 brick types, 350+ parts
Good materials and careful quality control give the bricks a neat finish, an accurate structure and a smooth, soft fit when they click together.

16 lessons in 4 units
The course uses project-based learning (PBL) and “screen-free programming” to complete different robot and programming tasks. Clear lesson videos explain the key ideas. Students build the model from the manual, program it, then extend it with new robot ideas.
A high-quality, systematic and standard course gives teachers a complete teaching loop. It sparks children’s creativity, frees their imagination and strengthens their logical thinking.
Fun machines
Build simple robots and learn the basic use of the infrared receiver, voice recognition module and photoelectric sensor.
Goal: review the basics of physical programming, understand how each type of sensor works and how it is used in logic mode, and apply this to control robots.
Lessons
1. Launcher robot
2. Danger-avoiding robot
3. Remote sled dog
4. Voice radar car
Creative programming
Build several creative robots and explore the different ways sensors can be used.
Goal: become familiar with the programming cards for the infrared receiver, voice recognition module and photoelectric sensor, and learn to choose the right sensor for each situation.
Lessons
5. Homemade electric guitar
6. Animated expression machine
7. Mini theatre stage
8. Passionate drummer
Fun programming
Build models controlled by programs, and use the programming cards to make their movements lively and fun.
Goal: explore how to program with cards, learn the cards for the motor, button sensor and LED light module, and use them to bring the models to life.
Lessons
9. Our closest relatives
10. Coin-saving helper
11. Curious cuckoo clock
12. Basketball trainer
Action figures
Build a series of figures with different movements. Design the actions yourself and review what you have learned so far.
Goal: revisit the core of physical programming to consolidate earlier learning, and build creativity and problem-solving by designing and programming your own figures.
Lessons
13. Ball-lifting figure
14. Bell-ringing figure
15. Rope-skipping figure
16. Knight duel
